Meet Josh Higgins

Josh Higgins is running for State Representative because he believes it’s time for honest, principled leadership that puts people before politics. Raised in Biggsville, Josh and his wife Lindsey—his high school sweetheart—grew up in the same area where they are now raising their family. They are strong believers in Jesus Christ and active members of their local church.

Josh has a proven record of service. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force, working in intelligence to protect American freedom. After returning home, he continued serving his neighbors as a member of the West Central School Board, where his children attend, and as a certified speed and agility coach, mentoring young athletes. He also works with Bi-County Insurance, helping farmers protect their livelihoods through crop insurance.

Now, Josh feels called to serve Illinois. He’s ready to stand up against corruption in both parties, fight for parents’ rights, and defend the freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution. His priorities include strengthening family farms and small businesses, reducing taxes, protecting the unborn, and restoring integrity to government .

Josh Higgins believes the people of Illinois deserve a representative who will listen, lead with conviction, and put the needs of families and communities first—not PACs or special interests. It’s time for change, and Josh is ready to be your voice in Springfield.
